Introducing The RWUL Film Academy
In Partnership with iSpace Foundation in Ghana
RWUL (Reel Worldwide Underground Link) is a non-profit organization that uses film and cinema as an outreach tool in communities worldwide and that provides helpful resources for independent filmmakers.  The RWUL Film Academy and Monthly Screening Series in Ghana is a new project aimed at engaging independent filmmakers with aspiring and up incoming filmmakers in Ghana. Through film screenings, a film lab, and workshops, the RWUL Film Academy will host in partnership with iSpace Foundation in Ghana this beta project to develop a permanent film lab annually in Ghana. All programs are free and open to the public and the film lab and workshops require registration online through RWUL’s website.  View more about the film academy here:

Monthly Screenings Presented by RWUL and iSpace:”The Screening Room”

Once a month, RWUL will host a free public screening of an independent film or films done by independent filmmakers of African descent. All screenings start at 7pm and light refreshments will be provided.

**Film Lab: May 18-22, 2015 **NEW DATE (Online Intro Course April 20, 2015)

The Film Lab will be a week long program guiding filmmakers through the process of making a short film. Registration is free for the Film Lab and registration can be done online through RWUL’s website starting March 16, 2015. The Film Lab will include an interactive and virtual course layout providing an opportunity for filmmakers to complete a short film that will screen at RWUL’s 3rd Annual “I Luv Africa” Film Festival in Ghana (ILAFF 2015).
