For the first time, Alliance Francaise will be hosting the International Students Day. The theme for this year’s edition is: ‘Quest for a better integration of student communities in Ghana’. The event will consist in a fair with exhibition of products and dishes of various participating communities, students’ performances, games, forums and debates, dance competitions and many more
The event which is been organised by a Foreign students association; Association pour l’intégration Des Etrangers du Ghana (AIDE-Gh), which is Association for the integration Of the Foreigners in Ghana, is to help foreign students especially francophones in Ghana settle and also get more information about the country.
According to the organisers, their inspiration was drawn from the fact that most francophones and students from other countries seldom have sufficient information regarding accommodation, basic staying requirements, bank account opening and other relevant details about Ghana during their stay.
The aim therefore is to create an avenue where they get to meet, mingle and learn from other students including Ghanaians. They intend to do this in other parts of the country and an annual event as well.
It will be a fun-packed day for students and participants as they will learn and build networks while enjoying good entertainment.
The event will take place on , Saturday, 14th November 2015 at Alliance Française Accra from 11am-5pm.
The climax of the event will be an excursion to Aqua Safari Beach Resort, Ada on Sunday, 15th November, 2015. (Rate: Ghc 30).
