In 2014, the McSilver School of Social Work’s Global Students Collective partnered with Girls Education Initiative of Ghana (GEIG) to initiate and build a sustainable relationship. GEIG is happy to announce that, they have cultivated a partnership which resulted in the school launching a GoFundMe page on their behalf. The page aims to raise $10,000 to support GEIG’s 2015/2016 GEIG Learns academic support program, which provides 80-100% of financial aid for all of our girls, gives textbooks, notebooks, uniforms, and other school supplies. They hope to raise half of the campaign goal- $5000 from October- December 2015.
