P-Nut Butta Kids is an African arts and crafts program by the African Culture and Wellness Festival (ACAWF) at the Aburi Botanical Gardens.
It is a series of fun-filled, healthy and educational workshops to inspire the creativity of our youth in the traditional African Arts.
The first workshop was organized in May and it was a grand success. Children between the ages of 5 and 16 had the opportunity to learn ‘tie and dye’ from Auntie Cynthia at the wood carvers’ village, Aburi Botanical Gardens.
Last Saturday, the kids learnt organic gardening from Auntie Antoinette. Teaching children to grow their own food is a natural key to Africa’s food sovereignty.
Join the team every first Saturday of the month from 10:00am to 1:00 at Inity Vegan or Eco restaurant in the Aburi Botanical Gardens Lawn #9. For more info go to www.acawf.com or call 0544750597.
