Read below as Sena Ahadji tells the world about herself:
I am an Illustrator Graphic Designer and Photographer with a Bachelor’s degree in Illustration Graphics from Coventry University. Discovering myself has indeed been an adventure, in which I have become an audacious artist, journeying the path to reach my zenith as a unique illustrator and a graphic designer.
The first and second year presented wonderful opportunities to once again develop my skills using different methods of production, from screen printing to animating and much more. Experimenting with these methods was always exciting.
In my spare time I found myself designing, flyers, posters, business cards, t-shirts and more for clients. Each task presented a new challenge, which I embraced. These factors have worked together to boost my confidence as a designer. Taking advantage of the well-equipped facilities the university had to offer, Brian, Jensen and I decided to launch JABS creative, a t-shirt designing business. It would give us the freedom and a platform to explore our diverse styles of illustrating.
We realized how challenging it would be but nonetheless took the risk. We learnt and recovered from our mistakes very quickly. As a result of JABS we have been able to design for several clients and showcased some new designs in the 2011 Fair-trade fashion show, it was a memorable event.
I recently moved back to Ghana and have been doing a lot of photography. I participated in a workshop with Fatoumata Diabate, which ignited my passion for the arts. Watch out for my work. I will never stop dreaming and learning. The future looks too promising to stop!
