I’m a natural sales and marketing specialist. I started, from Primary to Upper Six, selling fast moving consumables goods for Lever Brothers with my mother.
I did my service with National Archives and got involved in radio from Koforidua’s Radio Z to Radio Mercury and then was poached by Ash fm to be Assistant head of programmes. At Radio Z, I became the studio manager because of my principles and strict adherence to ethics.
At Ash fm, I became the marketing and sales supervisor, doubled as a newscaster and drive time host. I took a course at Ghana Institute of Journalism in PR and Advertising from ’98-‘99. I left Ghana to three countries in Europe, came back and was poached by multimedia to revive Adom fm.
I changed the face of drive time radio in three months. I left in 2004 to New York Paralegal School, and returned to multimedia as Head of music programmes and Events and promotions coordinator.
I am the CEO of Strategic Communications Limited, Managing Partner for Ofm Obuasi and Managing Director for Kaya Services Limited.
I am happily married to Genevieve Aggrey, HR Manager at Barclays Bank and the Organising Secretary of Ghana National College.

Quote from Gilbert
My values are discipline, hard work, integrity. I believe that change is constant and imperative. “The hunter chasing the elephant into the bush need not stand by the road side and throw stones at birds.”
