GoWoman is a quarterly West African Magazine. Their content is reported and curated by women from Sierra Leone, Liberia, and Ghana.
Liberia gave the continent its first female president as well as two female Nobel Prize Winners. It is a beacon for women’s empowerment. Sierra Leone is beyond post conflict and a projected 35% economic growth means that women’s earning power will grow tremendously in the next 2-5 years. When Ghana became a middle-income country in 2010, it signaled a new era in economic stability and growth. As Sierra Leone, Liberia, and Ghana continue to flourish the women who stand to benefit significantly from their collective growth are the educated, the urban, the entrepreneur, and the employed.
GoWoman shows these women trends that are local, regional, and international. GoWoman reports on women’s accomplishments, and highlights the issues still affecting women in politics, health, and business.
GoWoman will help women in their 20s, 30s, 40s navigate a global modern world through a localized regional lens. This magazine is for the woman who is already proving her potential. GOWOMAN IS more than just a magazine. It’s a movement. GoWoman!
