2EWEBOYS are collecting entries for an anthology of stories that reflect the Ghanaian/African woman – her plights, fears, struggles, hopes, aspirations, victories and achievements.
This anthology has a two-fold purpose. The main purpose is to share stories which redefine the narrative about the African/Ghanaian woman in literature. The next is to encourage as many women to write stories about women.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: August 31, 2017
LENGTH: Essays should be a minimum of 2,500 words. Original works only.
ELIGIBILITY: Open to African/Ghanaian women writers.
THEME: Authentic Ghanaian/African stories that reflect the experiences of African women
GENRE: Fiction, Nonfiction
NOTIFICATION: Authors will be notified of selection results by September 30, 2017.
HOW TO SUBMIT:
When you submit your manuscript, include:
- Include your name, address, and email. If writing under a pen name, specify your legal name and the pen name you’d like to be published under.
- Word Count
- Your Story
- A brief bio of 50-100 words
