FOOTBALL FLASHBACKS

Chelsea

After a break in the English Premier League (EPL) last weekend, the best league in the world returned with another round of entertainment to its faithful viewers.

Title contenders Chelsea, hosted a Swansea side enjoying a new lease of life under new coach Paul Clement.

Chelsea took the lead through Fabregas in the 19th  minute.  However out of nowhere,  at the stroke of half time, Swansea pulled back with a stunning free kick from Mr. Swansea, Gyifi Sigursoon who swung in a perfect cross finding the head of Fernando Llorente who then scored for the Swans and saw them end half-time firmly even in the match. Yes, the goal was as swift as it sounds.

Harry Kane is on fire!!!!

Hat-trick Hero, Harry Kane sends Spurs to second in the league with an incredible goal scoring performance against Stoke City at White Hart Lane on Saturday.

A first-half Harry Kane hat-trick inspired Spurs to an emphatic 4-0 victory over Stoke City in the Premier League on Sunday. The 23-year-old striker is now the joint-top goal scorer in the Premier League as he helped his side bounce back from the European League heartache scoring his fourth Hat trick for the club and turned the architect for a fourth goal when he laid a through pass for Dele Alli. With this entertaining victory, Spurs move back to second place 10 points away from Chelsea.

The Foxes return to Form

Four days after Claudio Ranieri’s sacking, Jamie Vardy hit a brace and Danny Drinkwater’s brilliant long-range strike lifted the ailing champions out of the relegation zone.

Interim manager, Craig Shakespeare’s first match in charge of Leicester City couldn’t have been any better with an astonishing victory against Liverpool on Monday. It was a performance that reminded one of Leicester’s amazing fairytale title triumph last season.

Liverpool managed to score a consolation goal in the 68th minute. But by then, The Foxes were already sailing out of the relegation zone.

It seems The Foxes have hit back after a few appalling performances and their dream to stay in the Premiership can be achieved.  The Foxes are reborn
