Rising Social enterprise esSENSE 13 is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist them with organizing the Accra FoodHack event.
Accra FoodHack is a weekend event that will bring together ‘foodies’ and ‘techies’ to explore the intersection of food and technology and how both groups can collaborate to address issues in the African food ecosystem. The event, the first of its kind in Africa, will provide a forum for interested stakeholders to brainstorm and develop practical solutions to challenges in starting a food or beverage business, the food supply chain system, food packaging and customer experiences with food businesses.
Volunteer Team Leads will be needed in the following areas, to bring this one-of-a-kind event to Accra:

Post-event Volunteer Appreciation Dinner in Accra
Transportation, phone credit (data/calls) will be reimbursed as used
Volunteers will be expected to be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs, be able to work with remote directions and be able to commit during the August – November 2015time frame for about 2-3 hours per week; and for the November 2015 – January 2016 time frame for about 4-5 hours per week. Finally, all volunteers will need to be physically present inAccra from January 6 – 10, 2016
