The Ghana’Asem Leadership Series: September Edition
Ghana’Asem is a series of discussions on relevant topics pertaining to today’s youth. The series is an open forum addressing current issues facing the African continent and the Diaspora. The series will take place in the Garden at iSpace Ghana every last Wednesday of the month.

Moderators for the September Edition:
Nana Yaa Asante-Darko is a writer, poet and a student at the University of Ghana Business School. She is a peer influencer who believes strongly in the capability of her generation to enforce progressive change. She runs the blog Oddinary Perspectives. Nana Yaa is the winner of the 2016 Ama Ata Aidoo Short Story Competition.
Kobina Ankomah-Graham is a lecturer, writer, blogger, and DJ on Ghana’s arts scene. Currently a part of the nKENTEn creative collective, Kobby is also the former editor of DUST: a pioneering Ghanaian magazine that combined creativity with social awareness-raising content. Deeply passionate about creative culture, media, education, and writing, he is currently in his fifth year of teaching at Ashesi University College.

M.anifest is an internationally acclaimed award-winning Hip Hop artist from Accra, Ghana, known for musical boundary crossing, multilingual wordplay, and a refreshing hybrid songwriting approach that acknowledges both his Ghanaian upbringing and his sojourns in the West. Described in 2015 by the Guardian (UK) as “the foremost rapper on the continent,” M.anifest’s originality and impressive lyricism has earned him collaborations with musical giants such as Tony Allen, Damon Albarn, Flea (Red hot Chili Peppers), Erykah Badu, Femi Kuti, A.B Crentsil and more. His latest project ‘Nowhere Cool’ is out now.
Dr. Kofi Osei-Kusi is an author, mentor, motivational speaker and the visionary behind The Osei-Kusi Foundation (OKF) an award-winning foundation that is helping to transform the lives of young people by providing them with tools, resources and training they need to make a global impact.
