DR_DRILLA’S DEAD SERIOUS MIXTAPE ALBUM TO BE RELEASED ON FEBRUARY 4, 2016

KNUST’s best rapper, Dr_Drilla is set to cause a revamp with the release of his debut mixtape album 

The undoubtedly best rapper in KNUST, Dr_Drilla, is set to release his debut mixtape album, Dead Serious, which is feared to cause a storm in the music circles on the KNUST campus. The release date for the album has been slated for February 4, 2016.

Dead Serious, is the first studio album of the fast rising dapper rapper. The first single off the album – “Ayo Freestyle” was released months ago and premiered on Live FM, which made waves all over the country got experienced industry player, Sammy Forson, endorsing him (Dr_Drilla) for his adroitness, music wise. The album promises to deliver an unadulterated combination of alternative hip-hop style, metaphorical but cogent lyrics, coupled with a mastery of groundbreaking sounds.

Dr_Drilla, on the album, proves his rap dexterity to deliver the message to his listeners. You can’t fail to notice his captivating punch lines, puns, metaphors, and his articulate wordplay that seems to excite music lovers. He features a host of other artistes; Mr. Denah, Evance, and Freddy Leecom.

The album loudly proclaims themes of motivation, inspiration, and self-belief in the bid of addressing issues from self-check to issues that surround our immediate environment and us. The first title track, “Dear You”, which featured Denah, a passionate art lover and a marvelous graphic designer, opens up the album with a show of the combination of rap and an odd form of poetic display of deep self and society check.

He proves his ability to deliver rightfully on any beat, from dancehall to hip-hop, to Afro, and even classical music.

Dead Serious will be out online on every music download site and music portals on February 4, 2016.
